From Humble Beginnings
Can you believe it’s been ten years since this creative event took its first steps? The festival kicked off as a series of pop-up performances in the Plaza Midwood area, thanks to the vision of designer and Que-OS board member Eric Ndelo. Since its official launch in 2016 by Manoj Kesavan, BOOM Charlotte has evolved significantly, celebrating the avant-garde and fringe aspects of dance, music, theatre, poetry, visual arts, and film.
