Charlotte is set to host four exciting matches of the FIFA Club World Cup at Bank of America Stadium, showcasing major soccer teams from around the globe. The matches are part of the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup, which will take place from June 14 to July 13. Charlotte will feature two group stage matches and two Round of 16 matches as part of this prestigious tournament.

The FIFA Club World Cup will see a total of 32 teams competing in various cities across the United States as they vie for the championship title. It is essential to note that this tournament is distinct from the FIFA World Cup, which is held for national teams.

Fans attending the matches will find that there are more than 30,000 parking spaces located within a 15-minute walk of Bank of America Stadium, ensuring ample availability for spectators. However, the stadium does not offer dedicated parking for bicycles or scooters, although bike racks can be found at nearby Romare Bearden Park.

Tickets for the FIFA Club World Cup matches are available for purchase as of June 20. However, it is advisable to buy tickets early, as prices may increase as the event date approaches, reflecting typical trends for high-demand events.

Weather conditions will play a role in the event atmosphere, with heat index values projected to reach 103 degrees by Sunday and potentially 107 degrees by Wednesday. While there is a low chance of storms on match days, spectators should remain aware that afternoon thunderstorms cannot be completely ruled out.

Bank of America Stadium is committed to providing an inclusive experience for all attendees. Assisted listening devices with the “Listen Anywhere” app are available in both English and Spanish at Guest Relations Booths on the 100 and 500 levels, as well as at four help desks on the 300 level. For individuals who may need assistance, disposable earbuds can be checked out, and LPB Radio-Aide and Closed Captioning devices are also accessible by exchanging a form of ID.

To enhance accessibility for attendees with mobility needs, specific lanes are designated at stadium entrances, and wheelchair assistance is available at the Guest Relations Booth. Accessible drop-off areas for individuals with disabilities can be found at the corner of Mint and Morehead streets, and elevators for those with disabilities are located at the North, South, and Blue Cross NC East gates, facilitating access to levels 300 to 500 of the stadium.

Bank of America Stadium is certified as Sensory Inclusive by KultureCity, offering sensory kits for checkout at Guest Relations booths for guests who require additional support. Private nursing rooms are accessible on every level of the stadium at designated locations, ensuring comfort for families attending the matches.

Admission policies for attending families stipulate that children older than 12 months must have their own game ticket, while younger children can share a seat with an adult. Additionally, parents can register their children in the Tag-A-Kid Program at Guest Relations booths located on levels 100 and 500, providing an added measure of safety for families during the event.

For younger attendees, the Atrium Health Fit Zone, located by section 138, features an artificial pitch where kids can practice their soccer skills by kicking and passing soccer balls, promoting sportsmanship and physical activity among the younger generation.

As Charlotte prepares to welcome fans from around the world for this historic event, the city and stadium officials are focused on ensuring an enjoyable and accessible experience for everyone attending the FIFA Club World Cup matches.
