Charlotte, NC – The community of Charlotte is mourning the loss of Morgan Martin Rosser, a beloved mother, wife, and friend, who passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, at the age of 46. Surrounded by her family and dear friends, Morgan’s departure has left a deep void in the hearts of many who knew her.

Morgan was born on May 14, 1979, in Pensacola, FL, and was raised in the nearby city of Gulf Breeze, FL. She graduated from Gulf Breeze High School in 1997, where she served as co-captain of the cheerleading squad and was honored as Miss Gulf Breeze High by her peers. Following her high school education, she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Finance at Auburn University. While attending Auburn, Morgan became a notable member of the Kappa Delta Sorority and held the position of Rush Chairman. She was also a dedicated supporter of Auburn football throughout her life.

After completing her degree, Morgan relocated to Charlotte, NC, to launch her career at Bank of America. Here, she took on various roles and had the opportunity to meet her future husband, Brent Rosser. Together, they created a loving home filled with friendships and travel adventures.

Morgan was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Alan Ann and Amelia Leigh Rosser. She was actively engaged in her daughters’ education, volunteering extensively and serving in various roles within the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Known for her special touch, Morgan had a remarkable ability to turn strangers into friends, and friends into family, embodying grace and dignity even during challenging times.

Family was of utmost importance to Morgan. She shared a close bond with her grandmother, Barbara, with whom she cherished a love for fashion and lively gatherings. Morgan is survived by her husband, Brent, their daughters, Alan Ann and Amelia Leigh, her parents, Michael G. Martin and Kay N. Martin, her brother John Michael Martin, and her nephew Peyton Michael Martin. Other surviving family members include her mother-in-law, Annette Rosser Lang, stepfather-in-law Robert Donald Lang, sisters-in-law Angela Jeanette Rosser and Kymberly Ann Crosby, and brother-in-law William Dudley Crosby, III, alongside several nephews, nieces, step-siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Morgan was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents and several paternal relatives.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Providence Methodist Church, located at 2810 Providence Road, Charlotte, 28211. All members of the community are warmly invited to attend. For those unable to be present in person, the service will be livestreamed.

In lieu of flowers, Morgan’s family has requested memorial donations be made to the Kappa Delta Foundation to establish the Morgan Martin Rosser Scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded annually to a member of the Kappa Delta sorority at Auburn University who exemplifies the qualities and values Morgan held dear.
