Charlotte is buzzing with excitement as the Charlotte SHOUT! Festival gears up to return from April 4 to April 20! This fantastic festival, which will take place in Uptown Charlotte, spans an impressive 17 days and promises to feature over 200 events and attractions. With last year drawing in an astonishing 642,000 attendees and paying out $650,000 to local creatives, it’s clear that this festival is the talk of the town.

A Feast for the Senses

The festival showcases not just the vibrant arts scene but also the rich culinary landscape of Charlotte. Attendees can look forward to numerous food events taking place throughout the festival. The Carolina BBQ Festival kicks off on April 4-5, featuring 17 talented pitmasters that will delight food lovers with their mouth-watering offerings, including a stunning Whole Hog BBQ display.

Additionally, the Charlotte StrEATs Festival, happening on April 12-13, will celebrate local chefs and restaurants. Expect live demonstrations, cook-offs, and even cocktail tastings that will tantalize taste buds! For those craving something quick and tasty, food trucks will be serving on Levine Avenue of the Arts throughout the festival, along with pop-up events at The Market at 7th Street and various other locations. Returning favorites, such as “Eggs on Parade” featuring larger-than-life Easter eggs crafted by 13 local artists, and the reimagined Queen’s Greens mini-golf course designed by local talent, will also make a splash this year. The Americana Rockin’ Country Experience on April 13, Soul Junction at SHOUT! on April 17, and gospel sessions on both April 8 and 20. With so many diverse performances, attendees will be dancing in the streets!
