CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Idan Toklomati scored the second of his two goals in the second minute of stoppage time to help Charlotte FC beat FC Dallas 3-2 on a rain-soaked Saturday night at Bank of America Stadium.

Dallas led 2-0 after Logan Farrington scored in the 22nd minute and Petar Musa added a franchise-record 19th regular-season goal in the 64th. Toklomati scored in the 70th minute and set up Harry Toffolo in the 74th to tie the match before his stoppage-time winner.

Farrington finished a sliding volley off a cross from Herman Johansson at the edge of the 6-yard box. Musa tapped in from point-blank range to break a franchise mark previously set at 18 goals. Dallas fell to 13-7-8 and saw a six-game unbeaten streak end.

Charlotte improved to 13-8-7. Goalkeeper Kristijan Kahlina made four saves after Charlotte had lost 1-0 at Chicago on Sept. 26 to snap an eight-game unbeaten run. Dallas goalkeeper Daniel De Sousa Britto also made four saves.

Bank of America Stadium sits in uptown Charlotte, where Bank of America is a major local employer and title identity for the venue. Mayor Rob Harrington and City Manager Marcus D. Jones lead city government as MLS nights pull downtown crowds, while CMPD Chief Estella D. Patterson department manages game-day public safety around the stadium district.

Atrium Health is another major Charlotte employer whose regional footprint often intersects with large sports events. UNC Charlotte adds to the metro sports audience that follows Charlotte FC through the stretch run.

Toklomatis late winner gave Charlotte a home result after trailing by two goals. The club will look to carry the stoppage-time energy into its next MLS match as the regular season winds down.
